The most notable error seen is an hs_pidd Access Violation error when Windows prevents Java from accessing files or memory space while running from the c:\users\ tree structure. As of Windows 10, Java 1.8, and Minecraft 1.10.x if Minecraft is ran from within the c:\users\ directory tree structure it causes errors not normally seeing when MC is installed and ran from other locations. If your modpack is not starting up or if its crashing, you may be experiencing a bug with the program code of a mod.
